On the 50th anniversary of the birth of Mortadelo and Filemón, the famous characters created by the cartoonist Francisco Ibáñez, they have joined the traditional Barcelona athletic race and become the image of the event in 2008.
Everyone who signs up for the race will receive an exclusive poster drawn by the author of Mortadelo and Filemón for the most numerous sporting, community and social event, and the largest one organized in the city where these two fictional characters were born exactly fifty years ago.
A unique poster to celebrate the three decades of an unrivalled event.
All of the runners who prove that they have participated in more than fifteen or twenty-five editions of the event will receive the thirtieth anniversary commemorative T-shirt and a silver number (15 years) or gold number (25 years) exclusive of the 30th Cursa El Corte Inglés. To facilitate the accreditation procedure, these runners have a special sign up point to present their diplomas from the previous editions they have participated in (El Corte Inglés in Plaça de Catalunya – fourth floor).
With this gift, the organization would like to publicly show our gratitude to the runners who are the best example of what the race has meant and means to several generations of citizens: health, enthusiasm, friendship, generosity, effort and community spirit.
They are the main protagonists of the race and their loyalty, in the 30th anniversary edition, has a reward. Congratulations!
